There’s only one month to go until the can’t miss event of the season—Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation’s Vintage Hollywood Grand Gala, held in support of our local hospitals and health care services.

Attendees can anticipate a night of glamour and giving, with classic table games, live and silent auctions, live entertainment, photobooth, and curated food and beverages.

The upcoming gala, which is presented by Snowcrest Foods, is responsible for providing a large chunk of fundraising, with last year’s event raising $300,000 toward an endobronchial ultrasound unit for Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

This year’s event will be raising funds for a therapeutic endoscopy suite at Abbotsford Regional Hospital—a transformative investment that will bring pioneering endoscopic care closer to home for patients across the Fraser Valley.

“By bringing therapeutic endoscopy to Abbotsford, I can make diagnosis day become treatment day, in their own backyard,” says Dr. Daud Akhtar, a gastroenterologist at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

The gala takes place on Friday, November 20, at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre in Abbotsford. Fred Lee will emcee and The Agency Trio, a vintage inspired powerhouse vocal trio, will provide entertainment.

The cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 7 p.m. Dinner options include a choice of New York strip steak, smoked spring salmon, or a grilled cauliflower steak with chimichurri. Single tickets are $250, with entire tables for eight people available for $1,900.
