Earl Storey has called Abbotsford home for 40 years and brings 47 years of experience in the plumbing industry along with a strong commitment to family, faith and community.

Married for 46 years to Colleen, Earl is the father of eight, grandfather of 18, and great-grandfather of two little boys. He values family and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoys travelling, golfing and spending time with family.

Earl serves on the Board of Directors of the BC Metis Federation and is passionate about Metis history, culture, and community. Throughout his career in the mechanical and plumbing industry, Earl has also served in the past on the Board of Directors of the Mechanical Contractors Association of British Columbia gaining valuable experience working with industry leaders and contributing to board-level decisions. He has also supported Samaritan’s Purse and its Operation Christmas Child program.

A longtime church member, Earl believes in supporting families and young people. As a trustee, he wood prioritize student achievement and well-being, meaningful family engagement and constructive relationships among trustees, educators, administrators and the broader Abbotsford community.

Earl believes the Abbotsford Board of Education benefits from a balanced group of trustees with diverse perspectives, professional backgrounds and life experiences. He is seeking election as a school board trustee to contribute his practical experience, family perspective, community involvement and commitment to working collaboratively with fellow trustees in support of students, families, educators and the broader community.
