Hrithik shares cryptic note

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan left fans intrigued with a philosophical and rather cryptic note on wisdom, clarity and spirituality. In the post, he reflected on how the pursuit of understanding life can sometimes make one realise that perhaps ignorance was bliss. Taking to his social media account, Hrithik shared a close-up selfie along with a reflective note that began, “You spend so much of your life chasing wisdom and clarity, only for the penny to drop that ignorance was bliss all along.” He went on to describe the world as a “fool’s world” and wrote, “Maybe the last step of wisdom, or spirituality itself, is taking that conscious step back. Back into being the fool again.” On the professional front, Hrithik was last seen in the 2025 action film War 2, which also featured Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. He also made a special appearance in Alpha starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh. On the personal front, he was married to interior designer Sussanne Khan in 2000. The couple parted ways in 2013, and their divorce was finalised in 2014. Hrithik is currently in a relationship with actor and musician Saba Azad. The couple recently marked five years together, and the actor had shared a social media post for her anniversary.
Radhika takes on casting bias

Actress Radhika Apte has opened up about her reservations regarding certain casting practices in South Indian cinema, questioning why producers often prefer fair-skinned actresses from the North over local talent. In a recent interview with a news channel, the actress, who is gearing up for the period crime thriller Akka, reflected on her experience in the southern film industry and the differences in sensibilities that may have contributed to her distance from it since 2019. “I could be wrong, but in my perception, North Indian actresses were cast down South because they were fairer. I’m not fair. I wonder why they wouldn’t cast South Indian actresses in South Indian films and get North Indian actresses instead,” she said. Radhika also championed southern actresses, praising their talent and arguing that they deserve more opportunities in films made in their own languages. “They’re excellent performers. I think they should get cast in South films rather than people coming from Bombay, who can’t speak a word in that language and get their voices dubbed by others. I wasn’t very much in favour of all that,” she added. Radhika made her South cinema debut with the 2010 Telugu-Hindi film Rakta Charitra. She subsequently appeared in films including Vetri Selvan, Lion and Kabali.
Saiyami extends her cinematic horizons

Actor Saiyami Kher is set to expand her cinematic horizons with an Indo- Russian drama directed by Maksim Kuznetsov, marking a new chapter in her career. The film, shot across Russia and India, is produced by Kartina Entertainment, White Night Films and Wish Media. Reflecting on the experience, Saiyami described working with an entirely foreign crew as a refreshing change. The project also marked her first visit to Russia, with the actor recalling how much she enjoyed exploring Moscow and experiencing a different working environment. “This was a completely different and new experience for me, working with an entirely foreign crew. We shot
in Russia, and it was my first time there. Moscow was beautiful, and the overall film experience was incredible,” she said. Saiyami added that collaborating across borders and language barriers offered her a fresh perspective on storytelling. She noted that working with people from different cultural backgrounds allowed
her to learn from their distinct approaches to filmmaking. Calling
the collaboration a wonderful opportunity, the actor expressed
hope that it would lead to more international projects in the future. She also revealed that the film revolves around a strong female lead, although details about the storyline and her character remain under wraps. Further information about the project, including its title and release date, is awaited.
SARA’S emotional ride

Sara Ali Khan has explored different shades of characters throughout her career, moving between comedy, romance and emotionally demanding roles. However, playing Rinku in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re remains one of the most challenging experiences for the actress, both personally and professionally. In a recent interview, when asked about the role that demanded the most from her physically and emotionally, Sara recalled how the film came her way during a particularly difficult phase in 2020. Reflecting on the year marked by the pandemic, lockdown and personal struggles, she said the opportunity was challenging yet rewarding. “‘Anger on the lips but pain in the eyes’ was Aanand ji’s brief to me. A film that is driven around you, working with an outstanding actor like Dhanush… that was definitely challenging for me and equally rewarding because of that,” she shared. The character required Sara to navigate a complex emotional landscape, balancing anger, vulnerability and underlying pain. Carrying a film driven largely by her character also brought its own set of responsibilities. Working alongside Dhanush added another dimension to the experience. With Atrangi Re, Sara explored a more emotionally layered performance, bringing Rinku’s contradictions and vulnerabilities to the forefront. The experience remains a significant chapter in her acting journey.
Reason Sai chose acting over medicine

Despite completing her MBBS, Sai Pallavi chose not to pursue a career as a practising doctor and instead entered the film industry, making her acting breakthrough with the Malayalam film Premam. On Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, host Amitabh Bachchan questioned her decision to choose acting over medicine, prompting her Ramayana co-star Ranbir Kapoor to offer a hilarious explanation. “You studied to become a doctor. And then you ended up here. How?” he asks. Sai replies, “God wrote it that you act,” suggesting that she was destined to become an actor. Her response leaves the host perplexed, prompting Ranbir to add a humorous twist to her explanation. “Bhagwan ka prescription tha Sir (God wrote in his prescription) that she has to act,” he says, drawing cheers and applause from the audience. In another promo, Sai opens up about her initial reaction when she was offered the role of Sita in Ramayana. She says, “I didn’t want to use my head this time. Every time when I play a character, I think, ‘What can I give to that character?’ but this was the first time when I thought, ‘What can I get for playing a role like that of Sita Maa? Like what knowledge will I gain from this?’ So, I wanted to keep the process transparent. I didn’t want to think about anything. I prayed to Sita Maa and went forward with it.”
