Vinay Waraich is a lifelong Abbotsford resident and candidate for School Trustee. He attended John Maclure Elementary, Colleen & Gordie Howe Middle School, and W.J. Mouat Secondary before continuing his studies in Political Science at the University of the Fraser Valley.

Vinay currently works as a Member’s Assistant in the House of Commons, where he helps residents navigate government services and community issues. He is also a licensed REALTOR® and has experience in business management and the electrical trade. Beyond his professional background, Vinay is actively involved in the community through youth mentorship, coaching local basketball, and volunteering with local organizations.

His campaign is focused on three priorities: supporting student success beyond the classroom, improving access to school facilities for community use, and strengthening partnerships between the Abbotsford School District, parents, and the City of Abbotsford. Vinay is committed to bringing practical, collaborative leadership that keeps students at the centre of every decision.
