A $10,000 donation to the Rotary Club of Abbotsford – Sumas from Abbotsford Chrysler and the Fraser Valley Auto Mall will allow Rotarians to provide nice-to-haves for local community organizations. The funds will cover hard costs of materials and supplies; Rotarians will coordinate the projects and provide the labour.

A 2025 donation supported improvements to the outdoor space at Cyrus Centre, and playground equipment and surfacing for a SARA for Women playground.
Kris Foulds, the Club’s 2025-26 president, is proud of the impact her small club has.

“There’s so much need in our community, and not-for-profit organizations are already struggling to raise funds for the important work the community depends on them for. Our fundraising and labour support needed projects and allows them to focus on other vital work.”

The Abbotsford Chrysler donation will also support additional scholarships in the Club’s program for graduating high school students.

The Abbotsford-Sumas Club also raises funds through its strawberry sale in the spring.
